Fields of France Villers Bretonneux

To think that 90 years ago, this would have been a devastating scene of war. Today, it is as peaceful as anywhere i have travelled. I was unlucky in some respects but also fortunate to visit Villers Bretonneux on a cold and wet summer's day. Apart from a weekly market, I was almost alone as i wandered through the streets and around the farms.
